From ccc25765143ef294c0a68b48d829c37d86c93b65 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: watson1978 Date: Tue, 13 Mar 2018 09:15:10 +0000 Subject: Improve Pathname performance MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit If it will not use special variables (like $1, $&, $`...), it can improve the performance by using Regexp#match? instead of Regexp#=~. Because Regexp#=~ will generate the objects to special variables by pattern matching. This patch will replace Regexp#=~ without special variables to Regexp#match?.
