* configure.in (arch): renamed to "universal" from "fat".

* include/ruby/defines.h (WORDS_BIGENDIAN): uses
  AC_APPLE_UNIVERSAL_BUILD.

* missing/alloca.c (alloca): defines only if C_ALLOCA is defined.
